FAQs during Closure of Library

How long will the libraries be closed?

We don’t know right now.  But we will reassess regularly and will post our reopening date when we know.

What library resources can I access while the libraries are closed?

eBooks and eAudiobooks can be accessed through Overdrive.  Digital magazines are available through Zinio.

The Library is still be taking requests for ZIP Books.

For a limited time, library card holders will also have access to enki ebooks. Patrons can read enki titles online or download and open in Adobe Digital Editions on desktop, laptop or Android / iOS tablet or phone.

I have a question about my library account.  How do I get help?

If you have a problem with your library account or need help accessing digital resources, please call us at 530-623-1373 between 8 am and 5 pm on weekdays or email us at request_trinity@trinitycounty.org.

What if my items are due during the closure?

Due dates on all materials will be changed until the libraries reopen.  No fines will accrue while the libraries are closed.

Can I return library materials to book drops?

In Weaverville, you can drop off library items at the outdoor book drop at this time.  Hayfork and Trinity Center have limited capacity so we ask that you keep your items until we reopen.
