Sarah moved to Trinity County in July 2017 and was fortunate to join the Weaverville branch team as a library assistant. She is very grateful to have the privilege of serving such a warm, welcoming community, alongside the wonderful (and patient) library staff and volunteers. Previously, Sarah taught special education at an elementary school in Denver. She’s excited to continue sharing her passion for learning with the youngest library patrons during Story Time on Thursday mornings.
Sarah grew up spending hours at her local library, poring over books with her sister. Libraries were critical in her literacy development as a daughter of immigrants. She is honored to work for such an important public institution. Her favorite book is The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, full of timeless lessons for readers of all ages.
